Traverse Resection

• To do a resection in a traverse, first append the control point you want to resect.
• Choose Edit | Insert New Point | Append Resection.

TPC makes sure the last point in the traverse is a control point, then adds a backsight point (BS) and a resection point (RS).

If you plan on doing a simple 2-point resection, enter the data to the backsight point then the resection point. In this special resection case, the resection point must like clockwise of the backsight point.

If you have additional resection points to enter, just add additional resection (RS) points to the traverse and TPC will automatically switch to a Least Squares resection using all the rsections points.
