TDS CR5, RW5, RAW Files
TPC supports the TDS (Tripod Data Systems) CR5, RW5 and RAW file formats.
Transferring Files
Depending on your computer operating system and handheld, you will transfer data
between the handheld and your PC one of the following ways.

connect directly to the data collector and transfer data via the
serial port on your computer.
- For Windows CE data collectors, you
transfer files using Active Synch or access the data collector as an external
drive.
RAW Files
The RAW file format is more recent than the RW5 format and include records not available in RW5 format. It is used by the TDS Ranger and Recon data collectors.
