There are two basic ways to rotate drawing objects 1) visually on-screen with the cursor or 2) in the Properties dialog for each object.
Rotating objects on screen allows you rotate more than one object at a time. If your drawing has a house foundation drawn by a traverse to which you have drafted additional features like a porch or deck you will need to use this method to rotate these objects together.
TPC does not allow you to modify survey lines with commands like break, trim, or extend. You must modify the line in the traverse that created it.
Hold down the Shift key to toggle into fine mode while specifying the rotation angle. TPC reduces the cursor movement to one-tenth, giving you finer control of the rotation angle.
To rotate objects 90, 180 or 170 degrees, hold down the Ctrl key as you move the cursor to change the rotation angle. TPC will select the ortho direction closest to the current cursor position and rotate the objects to it. Be sure to left click and slect the rotation angle before releasing the Ctrl key.
