Ortho Mode

In Ortho mode, TPC holds either the X or Y value of a point when drawing the next point. If you are drawing a line, TPC holds either the X or Y value of the beginning of the line as you select the end of the line.

The result of using Ortho Mode is that lines are drawn North-South or East-West.

To use Ortho Mode

• Move the mouse in the general direction desired. This tells TPC which coordinate to hold.
  
• Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the mouse to the desired position. TPC will show the line in the Ortho direction.
  
• Left click the end point like you normally would.
  
• Release the Ctrl key to deactivate Ortho mode.
