Modifying Traverses in Drawing View

This topic discusses how you can modify existing traverses in Drawing View by selecting text, points, lines, arcs and polylines in the drawing or just by left clicking to create new survey points.

You start all of these commands by right clicking an object in Drawing View that is drawn by the traverse you want to modify. You can right click a point symbol, point label, survey line or survey line label, lot label or lot area label.

Adding Points to a Traverse

You can also add points to an existing traverse.

The Add Points to Traverse dialog provides a number of methods you can use to select data into a traverse.

Inserting and Deletings Survey Points in a Traverse

You can delete survey points from or add survey points to an existing traverse. This command adds and removes existing survey points only. You can not use this command to left click and create a new point or snap to the end of the line. You will probably use it to modify traverses you've created to plot feature lines. If the line includes a jog over to an unwanted point, just remove it from its traverse.

Editing a Traverse

You can edit the traverse that created the lines and text you are looking at in the drawing.

TPC opens the Traverse View for that traverse and positions the cursor at the point that you selected in the Drawing View.
