Erasing Drawing Objects

TPC provides several ways to erase drawing objects. Deleting an object is the same as erasing it. The Erase command is provided separately for compatibility with CAD programs.

To erase a single object

• Position the cursor over the object you want to erase, right-click and choose Delete.

To erase all selected objects

• Select the objects you want to erase.
  
• Position the cursor over any one of the selected objects, right-click and choose Delete. All of the selected objects are erased.

The Erase command

• Choose Edit | Erase.
  
• Following the prompts in the status bar, select the objects you want to delete. Choose the Window or Cross options to select multiple objects.
  
• When you end the selection process, TPC erases the selected objects and ends the command.
