Breaking Drawing Objects
When you break an object, you create two objects out of one with both objects ending at the break point. The break point can be a randomly selected point, the mid point of the object, or an intersection.
Break command
- From the Drawing View, choose Edit | Break.
- Select the object you want to break.
- Select the point at which you want to break it. If the break point is the intersection with another object,
left-click the other object or the point at which they intersect.
- Left-click another object to break or right-click to end the command.
Right-click the object to break
- Right-click the object you want to break.
- Select the point at which you want to break it. If the break point is the intersection with another object,
left-click the other object or the point at which they intersect.
