By default, TPC synchronizes the Survey, Point, Traverse and Quick Views. As you enter data, update coordinates, rotate, translate, etc. you will see the changes in each view respectively.
You'll love the way you can enter data in the Traverse View and see it show up in the Drawing View, or the way you can rotate a traverse and see the changes in both the Points Manager and the Drawing View.
There are three synchronization levels to choose from. To access them, choose Tools | Program Settings | Miscellaneous and select Synchronize Views.
Off - no synchronization occurs. You can still manually refresh any view by choosing View | Refresh or any manager by choosing Tools | View | Refresh.
When view is activated - views are updated when you make them active, like when you click on a view.
Automatic (default) - synchronization is always on.
One exception to this is the Closure View. The closure computations can be quite involved, so the view is not updated as you enter data in the Traverse View, but is updated when the Closure View is activated.
