Selecting Items

Selecting points and traverses is another tool that makes TPC very powerful. The idea is that you don’t always want to work with the entire survey, just a part of it. You might want to rotate or view certain traverses, or insert certain points into a traverse. Once you get the hang of selecting data, you will use it frequently.

• Each view has at least one item selected - the current item. You select a traverse in the Traverses Manager and press Enter to open the Traverse View.
  
  
• To select more than one item, hold down the Ctrl key and left-click the items you want selected.
  
  
• To select a range of items, first left-click the first item in the range, then hold down the shift key and left-click the last item in the range. All the items in between will be highlighted along with the items you clicked.
  
  
• To select all the items in a view choose Select All .

Once you have the items selected, you can tag them to continue to work with them as a group.
