Refresh View Command

Updates the data in this view.

By default, TPC synchronizes views as you enter data. If you have turned this option off, or just want to make sure the view you are working in is displaying the data properly, choose View | Refresh in views or Tools | View | Refresh in managers.

Managers

Traverses Manager - rebuilds the list of traverses. If any closure information is dispalyed, it is recomputed to make sure it is current. TPC also checks the tagged traverses in the current drawing to make sure they match the tagged traverses in the Traverse Manager.

Points Manager - rebuilds the list of points. If you are keeping tack of both coordinates and geodetic positions, TPC makes sure they are synchronized based on your coordinate reference system.

Drawing Manager - rebuilds the list of drawings and any drawing data included in the manager.

Drawing Data Manager - re-builds the list of data in the drawing.

Surface Manager - rebuilds the list of surfaces.

Windows

Traverse View - rebuilds the list of traverse points in the current traverse only.  If you are keeping tack of both coordinates and geodetic positions, TPC makes sure they are synchronized based on your coordinate reference system. Use the Tools | Recompute to recompute the traverse points from any embedded raw data.

Closure View - recomputes the closure error, length, area, etc. of the current traverse.

Drawing View - uses Redraw and Regen to do specialized kinds of refreshing. Redraw just redraws the objects in the drawing without recomputing them. Regen regenerates the drawing objects from their survey data or drawing data before redrawing the objects.
