DGN files are proprietary drawing files created by Bentley. TPC reads and writes DGN files directly because it understands what cells, shared cells, levels and other elements of a DGN file are.
TPC can export any drawing in DGN V8 format.
You can import DGN files and convert the drawing objects like lines and symbols to survey points.
TPC supports the most common elements of a DGN file, but not all.
TPC uses the DGN libraries from the Open Alliance.
