Creating Offsets to an Alignment

Combine the points from one traverse with the alignment of another traverse. A third traverse is created which contains the resulting station and offset points. Use this tool to combine site survey points recorded as side shots with an existing or designed alignment. Then plot the resulting traverse or use the Summary tool to get a printout.

• Go to the Traverse View for the traverse containing the offset points.
• Choose COGO | Offset to Alignment.
• Select the alignment traverse you want and choose OK.
• On the Traverses Manager, see the new “Alignment/Offset” traverse.
