As you enter field data in the Traverse View, TPC automatically creates traverse points as needed, assigning an initial point label and initial coordinates to the created points. This feature ensures that you always have a foresight until you end the traverse or delete the last point.
TPC also remembers the last bearing/azimuth entered. If you want to extend a line, press the space bar with the cursor in the bearing column. Traverse PC will enter the previous bearing/azimuth for you. You enter just the next distance. TPC will keep the bearing/azimuth and extend the traverse by the distance you enter.
If you do not want to extend the new line along the same bearing/azimuth, enter a new bearing/azimuth or horizontal angle.
