With TPC, you can place as much data in a traverse as you like. You could put all your data into a single traverse, but there are some very good reasons why you should consider separating your data into traverses.

Drawing View can connect occupied points with one line type and side shots with another. This makes it easy to visually see your control network. If you place all your field data in one traverse, you will have one big control network which may have lines drawn between control points where you don’t want them. If you divide your field data into traverses, it is easier to see your control network.

You want to keep your control data separate from your site or topo data.
