Copying Traverses

The copied traverses are inserted directly above the original traverses. The name of each copy starts with the word 'Copy-' followed by the name of the original traverse.

Copied traverses access the same points as the original traverses, so changing the coordinates of a point in either the original or the copy will affect the other.

Copied traverses do not contain any raw data that might have been used to compute the points in the original traverses.

You might want to make a copy of a control traverse with radial ties, then compute the area of the radial ties by turning the side shot mode off. If you later recomputed the position of one of the radial ties, the area of the copied traverse would change based on the new position.
