Inserting a Line

The Line command inserts one or more line segments into the drawing using the current line type, line width and color of the Drawing View Format Bar. If you want all the line segments to be part of the same object, use the Polyline command.

Drawing View draws a line from the first insertion point to the cursor as you move it. This indicates the next line to be added by the command. When you left click, a line segment will be added and the mouse will advance to the next line segment. Create as many segments as you need.

To cancel the text command anytime before you finish, press the [Esc] key.

Entering a Line at a Bearing and Distance

You can repeat the shift key + left click combination for as many line segments as you want during the command.
