You can choose from a number of different point labeling options.
Point labels are drawn to the right of the point with the point label on top, followed by the description, the coordinates, and the station. You can turn parts of the point label on and off. You can also modify the label sequence and change the way Drawing View displays the different parts of the label.
You control the way points are labeled through the Points section of the Control Point and Side Shot settings dialogs.
Choose the font, size, and weight that you want, and then turn on the different parts of the label that are appropriate.
From control points you can also choose an interval to skip point labels that might clutter up the drawing. To label every fifth point, enter an interval of 5.
The point label sequence P : D\"N="Y E=X\"Z="Z\"STN="N will produce labeling that looks like this. Notice that quotes are used to interject the identity elements of the label.
Note: You need to use quotes around any text that contains any of the characters (P, D, Y, X, Z, N or \) used in the Point Label Format.
