Use this dialog to start a new drawing. You can create any number of drawings as part of a survey, but they must all have a unique name.
This dialog is accessed by choosing Tools | Insert New Drawing in the Drawings Manager.
Enter a unique name for the new drawings. TPC displays matching drawings as you type the name to show you what dawing names you have already used.
If you do enter an existing drawing name, TPC will warn you and force the drawing name you entered to be unique by appending a number to it.
Select a drawing tempate to use for the new drawing. TPC displays the last template you used but you can choose Browse and select a different one.
Every new drawing must start with a template, so if you don't want anything in the new drawing, choose the Empty template.
Choose Plan or Profile mode. This sets the starting mode of the drawing, but you can change it any time.
Choose this option to clear all traverse tags in the new drawing. You can then tag the traveres you want to include in the drawing. See Viewing Tagged Traverses in a Drawing.
