Lot Labels Dialog

This option determines how Lot Labels are displayed.

Lot Name

TPC uses the Traverse name as the lot name and plots it in the center (based on its extents) of the traverse. Once drawn, you can always drag-n-drop the lot name anywhere you want it.

Lot Size

The lot size is placed directly below the lot name. Like the lot name, once it is drawn you can drag-n-drop it anywhere you want it.

SqFt / Acres

These options turn the Square Feet and Acres of the lot on and off. To update the lot areas automatically, you must turn on [X] Compute Areas in the Miscellaneous drawing settings dialog. See Working With Areas for more information.

Update Traverse Settings

This option is available only when viewing the Drawing Settings. It copies the current Lot Label Drawing Settings to each tagged traverse (the traverses that make up the drawing). This is an easy way to set all the traverses to the same settings before modifying the individual traverse settings to create the map you want.

Save

This option saves the Lot Label Settings as the programs default settings. These settings will be used for any new drawing that is created. Save is only available from the Drawing Settings. It is not available from the Traverse Settings.

Reset

Drawing Settings - If the top of the dialog says "Drawing Settings", this option resets the Lot Label Settings of the drawing to the default settings you saved for the program by pressing the Save button.

Traverse Settings - If the top of the dialog says "Traverse Settings", this option resets the Lot Label Settings of this traverse to the Control Point Settings of the drawing.

OK

You will return to the Drawing View and your new settings will be in use when you click OK.

Cancel

Returns you to the Drawing View without applying any changes.
