Import/Export Dialog

This option allows you to import and export files in various formats for other programs, drawing files and data collectors.

Importing and Exporting Procedures

To import choose File, Import. To export choose File, Export.

Type

Choose the Type of file you wish to Import/Export.

Source / Destination

Select the Source/Destination of the file. You have the option to import or export to/from a File or Direct Connection.

Export What

If you are exporting, you will need to tell TPC what to export. You can choose from All, Selected, or Tagged Traverses (from the Traverses Manager) or Points (from the Traverse or Points Manager).

Files

Choose the destination/source path and filename. You can Browse to the path/file if you choose. You can preview the file to ensure that it is in the format you want.

Direct Connection

Select the profile you wish to use or click the Profile button to modify or create a profile. Refer to Communications Profiles for more information on profiles. The File Size, Transfer Rate, File Progress and Status Window display status information and are not editable. Click cancel to cancel the file transfer.

Export, Import

Click the Export or Import button to execute the action.

Settings

Click the settings button to set the file format options

Clear Log

Click this button to clear the status window.

Help

The Help button displays the online help.

Close

Closes the Import/Export dialog box and returns you to the previous window.
