Find Dialog

(Edit Menu)

This option searches for the next point label, point description or traverse name (if invoked from the Traverses Manager) that includes text matching your specifications. If you search for a point label or description from the Traverses Manager, TPC will select the next traverse that contains a point matching the search criteria. You will need to open the Traverse View to see the point.

Find What

Enter the text to search for.

Match Whole Word Only

This is a toggle option. When it is turned on, the find function will only find matching whole words, not portions of words. For example, if you ask TPC to find "Line," TPC would not find a match on "Lines." It would only match the word "Line" exactly.

Point Label, Point Description, Traverse Name

Choose what fields to look in.

Note: The Traverse Name option is only available when the Find option is invoked from the Traverses Manager.

Find Next

Use this option to find the next match to your text string.

Cancel

Returns you to the previous view without searching for any more matches.
