This option allows you to create Offsets to a Line
This is the point for which you are computing the offset. Use the [>] pick button to select the point from the current drawing.
Choose an offset direction. The default direction is perpendicular.
These are the computed values that tell how far and in what direction to go from the offset point to the point on line. The dialog also indicates whether the offset point is Left or Right of the line.
Enter the From point label. Use the [>] pick button to select the point from the current drawing.
Enter the direction of the line. You can enter an equation for the Bearing. Use the [>] pick button to select the breaing from the current drawing.
The point on line position is computed, but you must assign it to a survey point to save it.
This is the point on the line where the offset intersects the line. You can save this point by labeling it and choosing Save. Use the [>] pick button to select the point from the current drawing.
Distance from the start of the line to the POL. If the offset point is behind the starting point of the line, the dialog displays “Behind Start” next to this value.
Choose Edit to enter a description and point symbol for the computed point.
You must select Save in order to save the computed point.
Adds the computed point to the ‘Point Plot’ traverse and the current drawing.
View the offset graphically.
Closes the Offset to Line dialog and returns you to the previous view.
