Version 6 adds many new and exciting features our users have asked for.
- Choose from dozens of hatching patterns, fills and bitmaps.
- Choose from dozens of new line types or add your own.
- Export drawings to GIS via ESRI shape files.
- Insert pictures right into your drawings, including bitmaps, JPG, GIF and ICO formats.
- Choose the NAD27 datum as well as US vs. International Survey Foot.
- Choose from one of the included ellipses like GRS 80 or WGS 84, or add your own.
- Create standard offsets (reference points) at each corner of a foundation or footing.
- Choose from a single line per point or two lines per point and display field data like distances and angles on alternate lines - works for printouts too.
- Use the profile tools to draw a single x-section or multiple x-sections.
- You’ll find new options to print one course per line and include central angles.
- Lets you change line spacing, symbol width and symbol spacing.
- Garmin Etrex and Etrex-Summit handheld GPS is now supported.
Cleaner Drawing View -
- Objects you draw and move don’t erase existing lines and text - requires fewer regens.
- You can import a drawing template into an existing drawing. So if you get started and then say, “Oh, I should have created a new drawing from a template first” - no problem - just import the template.
- The Drawing View status bar displays the drawing scale next to the X/Y coordinates of the cursor.
