Version 4.11
Released in April 2001, V4.11 added the Professional Edition to TPC Desktop for Windows. All of the features in V4.11 are included in Version 5.0.
The Professional Edition is the top-of-the-line edition of our Desktop series. It offers specialized routines like computing the average offset and interval for posting a line. It also includes every data collector, total station and file interface available on the desktop series.
- Add line and curve tables to any drawing.
- Create your own drawing templates.
- Undo any action in Drawing View.
- Zoom window while you're drawing a line.
- Add polylines, force them to close, and then fill them with a color.
- Draw a box and start typing inside it, or change its width and TPC reformats the text.
- Insert a chamfer between two intersecting lines.
- Insert a fillet between two intersecting lines.
- Bring up the line dialog while drawing an object and specify an exact bearing, distance, radius, etc.
- Draw any line, polyline, etc in ortho mode.
- We've included north arrows, scale bars, title blocks, traffic symbols, map symbols and lots more.
- Fill rectangles, circles and polylines with a solid color.
- Rotate any symbol or objects - even the north arrow.
- Now you can modify existing objects like lines and arcs.
- Select multiple objects for moving, copying, deleting, hiding, etc.
- Align objects left, top, right, bottom or space them evenly.
- Snap to the tangent point of an arc or circle, intersection of two objects, or perpendicular to a line.
- Undo as many zooms as you want.
- Combine multiple objects into a group, then move it, hide it, copy it, etc.
- Create your own blocks or bring in ones from your old CAD program.
- Let TPC automatically update the scale, date, file name, job number.
- Create your own reusable drawing objects, title blocks, north arrows, etc.
- Add your own point symbols to the point symbol list.
- Add any block, line type or just text to the legend.
- This is a really neat way to keep track of which objects are paper space.
- Fit a curve through any number of points.
- Built-in editor and file manager.
- Keep track of your codes and sort points into traverses.
- Generate printouts for traverse data, closure and legal description for selected traverses.
- Turn any traverse into a legal description.
- Generates a cut sheet for selected stakeout points.
- Apply vertical curves to any traverse.
- Just like Drawing View, but for profiles.
- Convert between NAD83, UTM and local grid.
