Using Sun Shots in Traverses

• To insert a sun shot into a traverse, highlight the Foresight, Side shot or Backsight for which you wish to compute the bearing / azimuth from a sun shot, then choose Tools | Sun Shot to display the Sun Shot dialog.
• Enter your sun shot observations and choose OK.

 TPC enters the sun shot azimuth into the traverse at the highlighted point as if you had entered it manually. Once entered, the azimuth / bearing is considered to be raw data and is used in the traverse computations.
