Using the Point Plot Traverse

TPC uses a Point Plot traverse to automatically plot individual points on a drawing. The Point Plot traverse is a regular traverse, so you can add points to it yourself or delete points from it. The difference is that the Point Plot traverse is created automatically.

TPC sets the Traverse Settings of the Point Plot traverse so that only point symbols and labels are drawn.

Using Individual Traverse Settings

To get the most benefit from the Point Plot settings, your current drawing should be set to use individual traverse settings. This allows the Point Plot traverse to draw its points with just the point symbol and label. If your current drawing does not use individual traverse settings, you may get lines and line labels drawn between the points.
