Finding Points In a Drawing

Finding a particular point in a drawing can be a real challenge when you have lots of points plotted very close together at the current drawing scale.

1) If you don’t know where the point is, try the View | Find Point command. This command centers the drawing on the point or coordinates you specify and optionally zooms in on the point’s location.
2) If you have a general idea where the point is, try the View | Zoom | Zoom Window command. This commands lets you select a rectangular area around the point and zoom in to that area.
3) If you know the coordinates of the point, position the cursor until the X and Y coordinates in the status bar (bottom of the screen) are close to the coordinates of the point you are looking for. Now look for your point in the general area of the cursor.
