Editing Points

You can edit the coordinates, point label and description of any points from either the Points Manager or Traverse View.

Steps

• If the data you want to edit is not displayed in the view, choose Format and include the column in the display sequence.
• Highlight the data you want to edit and press the Space bar to edit the existing data, or just start typing to replace the existing data with new data.
• Press the Enter key to complete the edit or press the Esc key to cancel your edits and restore the original data.

Protected points can not be edited. First, unprotect the point, then edit its data.

Editing Survey Point Properties

You can also highlight any point and choose Edit | Survey Point Properties to edit the overriding symbol including its size and rotation.
