When you delete a travrse or a drawing from a survey, TPC retains the survey points so that they are not inadvertantly lost.
There are several reasons why you may have unwanted and unused points in your survey. Many of TPC's COGO routines create points to hold computed coordinates. These are often temporary points that you may want to discard from the survey. You might also have created duplicate traverses and tried several adjustment combinations, deleting those duplicate traverses which gave undesirable results. When these traverses are deleted, their survey points remain in the survey, even though they are no longer used in any traverses.
