If you can use more than one monitor at a time you can stretch TPC's desktop across them, creating a larger work space for your surveys.
You expand to a second monitor via Windows Desktop Properties.
In Vista, right click any blank spot on the Windows desktop and choose Properties, Display Settings and choose the Monitors tab (it may be displayed already). If you have a second monitor available, this tab displays monitors '1' and '2'. Left click monitor '2' and then choose Extend the desktop onto this monitor.
In Windows XP, right click any blank spot on the Windows desktop and choose Properties, Display Settings and choose the Advanced Settings tab. If you have a second monitor available, this tab displays both monitors as '1' and '2'. Left click monitor '2' and then choose Extend the desktop onto this monitor.
The second monitor needs to be displaying the Windows desktop background or another application before you can extend TPC's desktop onto it. If it is not, stop here and get the second monitor working.
Drag the right side of the TPC desktop onto the second monitor and all the way to the right side. This will stretch TPC's desktop area onto the second monitor. TPC now knows that it has access to all the area on both monitors.
Drag-n-drop any views you want onto the second monitor. Placing a view entirely on one monitor or the other is best.
Many people place the Drawing View on the second monitor, using the first monitor for data and computations and the second monitor for drafting.
If you position a view on the second monitor, you may also want to position it's toolbars on the second monitor also. See Toolbars.
