Starting a new Survey
- Choose File | New Survey or choose New Survey from the Tasks Manager. If the current survey has been edited and needs to be saved, you will be prompted to save the current survey first. Choose Yes to save it before starting the new survey.
- You will see the Survey Information dialog
- Enter a filename for the new survey or choose Browse to select an existing filename or path.
- Enter the survey information and choose the units you want to work in. You can enter anything you want for Survey, Client, Location and Job Number. This information is included with the Survey Report and Drawing View title blocks. It can also help automate the drawing process if you have used variables on your drawing templates. When you have entered all the information, choose OK.
You will now have a blank Traverses Manager with the survey name and file name displayed at the top of the screen.
