Display Missing Blocks / Pictures

TPC stores most objects (blocks and pictures) in a drawing as a reference. This means that the object resides elsewhere, usually in a file on your computer or file server. If TPC is not able to find the referenced file it will not be able to display the object. To help you reconcile missing objects, TPC can display the reference to the object in brackets like {X:\Shared Objects\filename.ext}.

• To display the reference for missing objects, choose View | Display Missing Blocks / Pictures. References are not plotted or written to drawing files like DWG or EMF.
• To edit the reference, right click the reference and choose Properties. If you select another object, it will be displayed at the same position as the original.
