Include Error Summary Command

Choose this command to include the relative, linear and angular errors in the Closure View.

Relative Error

Relative error = traverse length / linear error. It is displayed as Relative 1: ##.

Linear Error

Linear error is the distance from the computed closing point's northing and easting to the correct closing point's northing and easting.

Angular Error

Angular error is computed as the difference between a computed bearing and a known bearing supplied by the user (assumed to be the first course for a Closed Loop traverse unless you specify otherwise).

Northing, Easting, Elevation

Differences in northing, easting and elevation from the correct closing point to the computed closing point.
