This dialog box sets the current survey units and sets the default units for any new surveys created. If the current survey already has data and you change the Distance Units, you will be prompted to convert the units. You can choose not to if you want.
Choose from feet, chains or meters. This controls all coordinates, distances and sizes (inches or mm).
You can change the unit text displayed in the program. These are used throughout the program in Drawing View and reports.
Choose from Bearing (i.e. N45°30’15”W), North Az (north = zero) or South Az (south = 0)
Choose from decimal degrees (Degs), degrees-minutes-seconds (DMS), grads, mils and radians (Rads).
Determines whether stations are reported as being 100 units (12+54) or 1000 units (1+254).
Enter the value used to convert stadia.
Applies the Program Settings you have selected.
Discards any changes made in the Program Settings and returns you to the previous view.
