Replace Dialog

Replaces text in the point labels, descriptions or traverse names.

Find What:

Type text to look for.

Replace with:

Replace every occurrence of the Find what: text with this text.

Match Whole Word Only

This is a toggle option. When it is turned on, the replace function will only find matching whole words, not portions of words. For example, if you ask TPC to replace "Line" with "Point," TPC would not find a match on "Lines." It would only match the word "Line" exactly.

Traverse Name

(Traverses Manager Only)

Use this option to replace text in traverse names.

Find Next

Finds the next occurrence of the text in Find what:. This button is useful if you only want to replace specific occurrences of the Find what: text. You can use this button to skip the present occurrence.

Replace

Tells TPC to replace this occurrence of the Find what: text with the Replace with: text.

Replace All

Tells TPC to replace all occurrences of the Find what: text with the Replace with: text. This option does not allow you to specify which occurrences to change.

Cancel

Returns you to the previous view without making any more changes.
