Editions

The editions are designed to provide the features you need without forcing you to wade through menus, commands and documentation you'll never use. They 'streamline' the program, making it easier to learn and use every day.

TPC Desktop is available in the following Editions:

Premium

This edition is a complete surveying program with the muscle and flexibility to tackle your everyday software needs. TPC Desktop Premium provides a complete set of integrated tools. You combine the tools appropriate for the task. Virtually every aspect of TPC Desktop Premium is user definable, so you can customize the program to accomplish your tasks. Features include project management, spreadsheet data entry, traversing with side shots, "Drawing View" graphics, pop-up COGO dialog boxes, contouring, sunshots, full DWG support, advanced data management tools, context sensitive help, traverse adjustments, file conversions, data collector support, custom reports, TPC CAD and others.

Professional

This edition includes profiles, vertical curves, curve fitting, stakeout report, a legal description writer, coordinate transformations, point symbols, automatic line/curve tables, text file import, angle sets, point codes, traverse reports, many advanced DXF options and many more features. If you are a professional land surveyor and use TPC, this is where you will eventually want to be.

Student

This edition offers the same features as the Personal Edition. You can enter your own survey data or import from a data collector or total station. Use the traverse and COGO tools to compute the survey then use the CAD tools to generate a professional looking plat.
