Command: From the Drawings Manager select the drawings you want to clean up and choose Tools | Cleanup Drawing.
As you work with a drawing, TPC retains some temporary information as it anticipates what you are doing. For instance, if you reposition a survey line label then untag the traverse that drew that label, TPC retains that label in case you tag the traverse again. If you tag the traverse, TPC is able to put the survey line label right back where you positioned it because it retained it in the drawing even though you had untagged it's traverse. Other drawing operations result in similar temporary objects.
You can only remove survey points that are not being referenced anywhere else in the survey. If TPC has created any of these temporary drawing objects that reference a survey point, the point reference count can not be set to zero so the point can't be removed. Cleaning up a drawing removes these temporary drawing objects and so resets the point reference count.
