Traverse PC - Update/Upgrade Policy

Upgrade Current Version
Traverse PC allows you to
upgrade from one
Edition of the
current version to another
Edition. You pay just the difference
in list price between the two editions.
(note: If you do not have the
current version,
you need to first update
to the current version
and then upgrade to the
Edition you want.)
Update Supported Versions
Traverse PC allows all
supported versions
to be updated to the
current version
of Traverse PC at substantial discounts listed in the
Price List.
Update Un-Supported Versions
If you own an
unsupported version of TPC
Desktop, you can purchase any
Edition of the
current version
of Traverse PC for half of its list price.
Required Update / Upgrade Information
All Updates and Upgrades require the serial number of your version. It can be found by choosing Help | About TPC Desktop.
Definitions:
Version:
A Version is defined as the specific name of a release such as
TPC Desktop V9.5 or TPC Desktop 2008.
Edition: An Edition is defined as a
specific set of features that has an Edition name such as TPC
Desktop 2008 Professional (2008 is the Version and Professional is
the Edition).
Current Version: The Current
Version is the version that is currently being sold by
Traverse PC.
Supported Version:
Supported
Versions are the versions immediately preceding the Current Version
and which are still supported by Traverse PC technical support.
Unsupported Version: An
Unsupported Version is a version for which Traverse PC no longer
provides technical support or program maintenance.
Update: An Update is defined as
moving from a prior version to the same edition of the current version such as TPC Desktop Professional V9.0 to TPC Desktop
2008 Professional.
Upgrade: An Upgrade is defined as
moving from one Edition of the current version to another Edition of
the current version such as from TPC Desktop 2008 Personal to TPC
Desktop 2008 Premium.
