Alpha/Numeric Point Labels...

You'll love the flexibility of using point labels like '12+00' or 'E1/4' when you need them.  And because TPC doesn't store points in arrays, there's no penalty for skipping from point 147 to point 1000.

Single Row Option in Traverse View...

TPC V6.0 provides the option to show 1 or 2 lines per point in the Traverse View. When “2 Lines” is chosen, TPC V6.0 will wrap text in the Description column so you see more of your data.

The “2 Line” format is better for use in the field since it separates points making them easier to read—like the traditional Field Book. And anything that makes it easier in the field is something to seriously consider having. We know, we’re surveyors too and use this program in our own surveying business.

Pre-Defined & User-Defined Traverse View Formats...

You can format any traverse View any way you want - just enter the letters like B for Bearing or N for Station.  You can start with one of our predefined formats or create your own.

Raw Closure / Relative and Linear Error / Area...

Bring up the Closure View any time to see how your traverse is doing.  Check your closures, get the area - it's all there.  Need to add another point to the traverse or edit a point you already entered?  No problem - the Closure View updates automatically - giving you the new closure and area.

Adjust XYZ / Angles / Undo...

You'll also use the Closure View to adjust your traverse.  Choose from any one of the available options.  The Closure View always reports the adjustments you have already applied to this traverse.

Adjust Curvature & Refraction / Scale Factor...

The scale factor adjustment is a great way to adjust your field data to grid coordinates.

Point-by-Point Adjustment Details...

No matter what adjustments you have applied, TPC reports the amount that each point has changed, along with the relative error.  Take the inverse and you have the Positional Tolerance of each adjusted point.

Notes...

Just tell TPC to include the notes from your data collector and there they are - right in the traverse.
